I met a very lovely lady in Indonesia who invited me in her beautiful home.  She would ask her house guests to sign in a guest book and she has already collected a lot of those books in her years of stay in that home.  I wanted to do the same, but I would always forget to buy a guest book. 

Instead, the idea of putting a digital journal to commemorate those visits hit me–and I'd save more trees this way.
